An extruder is a machine used in a cable production line, which liquefies plastic, rubber, metal or other materials and shapes them into special shapes, making them usable. In cable production, the extruder is mainly used for the production of cable insulation materials, protective sheaths and other components. The extruder places the material in a special feeding hopper and from there it enables the raw material to be advanced with a special screw, melts the material into liquid form thanks to the resistances. This liquid material is then passed through special forming molds and used to create various cable parts such as cable insulation, protective jackets.
Monochrome and one or more colored strips can be made as desired.
